Hosted by Blackhawk’s Multi-Cultural Alliance, the Student Government Association, the Culinary Arts Department and the BTC Foundation, the Soul Food Luncheon celebrates diversity while supporting equity and unity.
Pick up dinners will be available.
All proceeds go toward the Diversity Scholarship to benefit students at BTC
“Achievements Against the Odds” is a traveling exhibit organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service.
The exhibit celebrates nationally known black women who have had significant impact on society as they met and overcame challenges.
The Beloit Historical Society has expanded the exhibit to highlight Beloit men and women who have had a significant impact on society in the same topic areas. Topics include government & politics, civil rights, business, education, religion, sports, medicine, military, and music.
The exhibit will be displayed at the Soul Food Luncheon at Backhawk Technical College.
